Cosmic Gate, aka DJ Bossi and Nic Chagall, return to Pacha to mark the release of “Wake Your Mind,” their full album on Black Hole. Their sound is big, beautiful and hopeful, wrapping beautiful voices in layers of heady synth. Tonight, they’re joined by Emma Hewitt, the voice of this year’s massive “Be Your Sound,” for a live performance.

It was a brilliant 2011 for Sander, wrapped up nicely by two big releases in December: A remix of Lady Gaga’s latest single “Marry The Night,” taking the original into arena rave territory; and a massive collaboration with Bloc Party’s Kele, on “What Did I Do” for his own Doorn Records. The Dutch DJ/producer broke through in 2006 with slamming instrumental “Riff,” and has stayed in the center of the global trance conversation since.

In 2010, Arty popped up at No. 78 on DJ magazine’s annual Top 100 DJ poll. Since then, the 22-year-old Russian has become a fixture on the international scene, releasing chiming, anthemic tracks like “Around the World” and “Kate” on Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats label. He also remixed Ferry Corsten’s massive “Punk” and dark trance soldier Tilt’s “The World Doesn’t Know.”
